A team of Nurses and Social Workers with special training to provide care for women, men and children who are victims of sexual assault, historic child sexual abuse or domestic violence.
We can help with: emotional support, assessment and documentation of injury, treatment to prevent sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy, collection of evidence (with or without police involvement), safety planning, information and referrals to community resources, follow-up care and counseling.

The Advocacy Centre for the Elderly is a community based legal clinic for low income senior citizens. ACE is managed by a volunteer board of directors at least half of whom are seniors. ACE is funded through Legal Aid Ontario and is the first legal clinic in Canada to specialize in the legal problems of seniors.
In 2015 concerned citizens and service providers came together looking for a way to address the abuse of seniors in Grey Bruce. Violence Prevention Grey Bruce established the Seniors Safety Network in 2017. Members come from health, social services, justice, senior’s services, community groups and community champions.

Provides information about convicted offenders to Court, supervises adult offenders placed on probation/conditional sentences by Court and parole by the Ontario Parole and Earned Release Board. Enforces Probation, Conditional Sentence and Parole conditions.
Provides information and assistance to victims and/or witnesses of violent crime. Priority service to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Services include case specific information, court preparation and orientation. Acts as a liaison with Crown Attorney’s Office.
CMHA provides counselling, court support, education and leisure programs and services for people experiencing mental disorders. The central office is in Owen Sound, with local offices in Markdale, Hanover, Southampton and Kincardine.
Provides mental health assessment and treatment to victims of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence.
