Sexual Violence Stats 2022

May is Sexual Violence Awareness Month! Community-based sexual assault centres have been providing crisis and counselling support to survivors of sexual violence throughout the pandemic, in communities all across Ontario.

In that time, 81% of all Ontario sexual assault centres saw an increase in crisis line contacts (phone, text lines and crisis chat).

This infographic was compiled by Ontario Coalition of Rape Crisis Centres in 2022, with data provided by 26 of our member centres.
