VPGB Launches 16 Days of Activism Article Series

Violence Prevention Grey Bruce will launch their third annual 16 Days of Activism article series on November 25th. The 16 Days of Activism were coined in 1991 to raise awareness about gender based violence. The days begin with November 25th (International Day Against Violence Against Women) and runs to December 10 (International Human Rights Day).

We will share articles and letters through the website www.vpgb.ca, on social media, and in local publications. This year, the start of the 16 Days of Activism coincide with a community forum about human trafficking to be live streamed on November 25th starting at 6:30pm on Violence Prevention Grey Bruce’s website, Facebook page, and youtube channel.

Articles from the previous two campaigns are still available under the news section on Violence Prevention Grey Bruce’s website. Check the website each day to see the latest article and share them widely to spread the word about these important issues.
